Chinese Tire Manufacturers Announce Price Increases
Sailun Group and over 40 Chinese tire manufacturers have announced price increases of 3-5% for Truck and Bus Radial (TBR) tires, effective April 1, 2026. The price hike is driven by rising raw material costs, with crude oil prices exceeding $100/barrel and natural rubber prices reaching 17,000 RMB/ton.
Key Brands Affected: Maxxis, Cheng Shin, Doublestar, Double Coin, and other leading manufacturers.
Michelin Launches Next-Generation XHA3 Mining Tire
At ConExpo 2026 (March 4), Michelin unveiled its new XHA3 engineering tire, replacing the XHA2 and XADN+ product lines. This represents the company's most significant innovation in earthmover tires in a decade, featuring enhanced load capacity and improved TKPH (Ton-Kilometer-Per-Hour) performance for modern heavy machinery applications.
